This collection consists of Daniel Blake's business records, 1830-1832, including bills, account records, and receipts. The records pertain to the sale of cotton and rice and the purchases of cheese, dry goods, machinery for rice mills On the Ogeechee and Combahee Rivers, and paintings and furniture from S. Philbrick and Co. Merchants with whom Blake had business transactions were E. Molyneux, Jr.; H. Fassman (possibly of New York); James Anderson; George G. Faries; James Wassell; and S. Philbrick and Co.
